Kazakhstan has launched a strategic partnership between Akashi and TSARKA Group. Bluescreen published a joint interview with Akashi CEO Vladislav Minkevich and TSARKA President Olzhas Satiyev on how Tier IV infrastructure and world-class cybersecurity turn the region into a digital hub.
Why Tier IV
Minkevich: Tier IV delivers 99.995% availability — under 26 minutes of downtime per year. For finance, e-commerce, and large tech firms, even a short outage is costly. Tier II/III look cheaper upfront, but downtime risk erodes the savings; Tier IV removes that risk.
Satiyev: availability is a foundation of cybersecurity. Partnering with the region’s first Tier IV DC lets TSARKA guarantee continuity for security services.
What the stack unlocks
Akashi gains TSARKA’s expertise on local and global threats; TSARKA gains a world-class site for SOC and protection. Together they are preparing backup systems for critical infrastructure — in practice backups are often missing or stale, which makes ransomware devastating.
Minkevich sees the campus as an alternative to European sites for Central Asia: closer to growing markets, Tier IV reliability, TSARKA security, and AIFC incentives. Next steps: integrate protection tech, scale toward 100 MW, and ship joint products — secured cloud, disaster recovery, and compliance tooling.
